Sourcing

How to request a machine when it's not listed yet

Can't find the exact machine you need in the current listings? A sourcing request tells JMT and its seller network what you're looking for, so you don't have to keep checking back.

When a sourcing request makes sense

Not every machine buyers want is already listed. If you know the exact category, brand, or spec you need — and it isn't in the current browse results — a sourcing request lets JMT and its seller network know what you're looking for, instead of you checking back every day.

What to include in your request

  • Machine category and, if you know it, the make/model
  • An acceptable year range and hour range
  • Destination country and port, if already decided
  • A budget range, so any response is realistic
  • Any must-have specs — attachment type, cabin, drive configuration, and so on

What happens after you submit it

JMT reviews each request and checks it against current and upcoming seller inventory. If a matching machine is available or becomes available, you'll be contacted through the same channel — there's no separate account or new inbox to check.

Keep browsing while you wait

A sourcing request doesn't replace browsing — it's for the gap when nothing currently listed fits. It's worth checking the relevant category page first in case a close match already exists.
