1.Information we collect
Will list the categories of information JMT collects from buyers, sellers, and visitors, with a brief explanation of why each is needed for the marketplace to function.
2.Account information
Will cover information tied to user accounts (display name, email, language preference, country) and how it is used to operate the buyer and seller hubs.
3.Seller verification documents
Will explain how seller verification documents (company registration, kobutsusho license, yard documents) are stored privately, who at JMT can view them, and how long they are retained.
4.Buyer inquiry data
Will explain what is captured in a buyer inquiry, that JMT mediates the inquiry channel, and the privacy boundary between buyer and seller for contact details.
5.Transaction records
Will describe the system-of-record data JMT keeps for each transaction (states, timestamps, audit log entries) and the retention period for those records.
6.Storage and security
Will describe where data is stored, the access controls used, and the audit-log pattern that records who acted on which entity at what time.
7.Sharing with service providers
Will list the categories of service providers JMT shares data with (hosting, email delivery, payment processing partners) and the contractual or legal-basis framing around each.
8.International users
Will note that JMT's primary operations are in Japan, that buyers may be located in many countries, and how that affects data transfer.
